![]() A sample of found flowers from the streets of Manchester |
This was one of my prayers: for a parcel of land not so very large, which should have a garden and spring of ever-flowing water near the house, and a bit of woodland as well as
these.
Horace 65 - 8 BC.
This enclosure, parcel of land contains examples I collected when straying from the desire path. Fortunately I have a vague notion of how to return so my own enclosure can continue to grow wild with the specimens collected in the original found
enclosure. I bumbled into a person who offered me a commission and
discovered a building called Bookville.
Creative writing, short films and book-making are the pastimes I brought back from the enclosure, and my efforts are recorded here. These are areas that have
nourished my original work, (see my Visual Findings section) and so
enabled digging into unknown soil only after venturing
through gates left ajar.
